Did you know the corpse flower grows to be as large as an umbrella? Did you know the foxglove is the source of digitalis, a powerful heart medicine? Every well-informed person needs to know about the life-giving role of flowers. Grow-a-Flower is an interesting and stimulating environment in which players progressively acquire a deep understanding of flower components, their locations, and their functions. Each flower embodies a system that leads to reproduction of itself. The study of systems is emphasized in both state and national standards. Players progress through three stages of learning-novice, gardener, and botanist-as they master information. For 2 players or teams.
